A celebration of Lanao's abundance in the Municipality of Maigo through street dancing competition with an aqua and agro fair. The search for Ms. Maigo and a fashion show using langka highlight the promotion of the area.

February 18-19 · Quezon, Bukidnon

A celebration of Manobo culture and a traditional preparation for farm activities. Live animals are sacrificed and their blood spread on farm tools as a petition to the Mambabaya (God) for safety and abundant harvest. Highlights include the Paratuan Ritual (installation of New Ethnic Leader) and the Padtungan ta Kasal Tribal Wedding Ceremony.

February 9 · Binuangan, Misamis Oriental

A religious festival where devotees flock to the shrine of Birhen sa Lourdes to light candles, renew vows, and ask for blessings. "Patunob" is a Visayan word for "to be stepped on," a healing rite where the image of the Blessed Virgin is lightly placed on the shoulders and head of devotees.

"Sakayan" is the local term for a small outrigger boat used for fishing. The festival celebrates with dances accompanied by the rhythmic sounds of drums and kulintangan, a musical instrument of the Muslims, symbolizing the humble livelihood of the area's fisherfolk.

A fishermen's celebration of thanksgiving for blessings during seafaring, fishing expeditions, and fish farming. Recognizes Mother Nature for endowing Mercedes with vast fishery resources, magnificent shorelines, and aquatic potentials.
